Over the week, some of our staffs were mentioned in the 2021 Founder Institute, Lagos Startup Resource List. Maya Horgan-Famodu, Blessing Abeng and Uwem Uwemakpan, members of the Ingressive family were mentioned as Evangelists on the list and we couldn’t be more proud of them.
We also got mentioned on the list, Ingressive Capital was listed under the Venture Capital List and that was definitely a beautiful way to start the New Year, however, we would like to place our focus on our talents who made the list too.
Without the right talents in an organization, it is hard to get work done and achieve anything. Some of our milestones in 2020 can be attributed to the hard work of members of staffs who keep the vision and goal working.

Maya Horgan-Famodu is committed to ensuring brilliant people, wherever they are located, have access to the resources they need to build wildly scalable businesses. She is a venture capital investor, entrepreneur, and Forbes 30 Under 30 entrepreneur. She founded Ingressive Capital, a $10 Million venture fund focused on early stage African tech; Ingressive for Good, a nonprofit providing micro-scholarships, technical skills training, and talent placement; as well as Ingressive, an advisory firm providing market entry / market ops services and tech research for corporates and investors.
Uwem Uwemakpan is a Startup Coach and investor in early-stage startups. He helps entrepreneurs gain the clarity they need to turn their idea/passions into profitable businesses. Uwem is the Director of Fund Operations at Ingressive Capital and he is focused on building entrepreneurship ecosystems that empower African entrepreneurs to be the best they can be.
Blessing Abeng helps brands identify the value they offer & communicate it. I am continually catalyzing growth through Branding, Business & Communications. She is the Director of communications at Ingressive For Good.
