What do you offer and what percentage of my company do you take?
We fund tech-enabled companies based in Africa. These are companies that leverage technology in their business. IC is concerned about the ecosystem as a whole and our sister company Ingressive for Good provides resources to help businesses succeed.
Do you support any SME or just technology companies?
Tech-enabled companies are focused on delivering their product or service in a better, faster and cheaper way. They use proprietary technology to make their product more efficient.
Today, Ingressive Capital is a $50 million USD fund II focused on finding and backing the next wave of high-growth tech entrepreneurs coming out of Africa.
We invest in companies that leverage technology to solve major challenges across Sub-Saharan Africa, Egypt and Morocco. We look for post-traction (clear customer + validated product-market fit) founders who are targeting billion-dollar industries, are brilliant, show grit, humility, and know their market well enough to reach us.
What does tech-enabled mean?
We invest in pre-seed/seed-stage startups. We require startups to have launched, have traction, and show validated market demand.
Do I need to have launched before IC invests?
We have 4 stages in our investment process. It could take between 2 to 6 weeks to go through the entire cycle and close the deal.
